Things to do in Luxembourg

Fun and unique things to do in Luxembourg City. Top attractions and things you cannot miss during your next visit to Luxembourg's capital city & nature. I would like to show you my top locations that I have experienced in the 4 days.

01 Adolphe Bridge

Would you have thought that there are a total of 1,271 bridges in Luxembourg? And one of the most beautiful bridge is definitely the Adolphe Bridge. The total length of the bridge is 153 m and was built between 1900 and 1903 and is still one of the largest stone arch bridges of the world.

02 The Corniche

One of the highlights was The Corniche , a path right on the edge of the rock which Luxembourg’s old town is enthroned, is also called the most beautiful balcony in Europe.

I highly recommend the wenzel walk through the millenial history of the city. You come across the Neimenster church e.g , which was build in 1606.

03 The green Müllerthal

A hike in the Müllerthal should definitely be on your to-do list when traveling through our little neighboring country of Luxembourg. You can expect a wild nature, rushing rivers and streams, imposing rocky landscapes, natural forests and very impressive and moss-covered rock massifs.

04 Esch-sur-Sûre

Nestled in a valley of the Sûre River in Éislek, the village of Esch-Sûre lies in a bend of the river below the ruins of the oldest castle in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. I was immediately charmed by the village .The most beautiful view you have from Éislek Pad Up, down, up and down again! This path demands a lot from you in between. But it is worth it and you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view.

05 Vianden castle

Deep in the small country of Luxembourg lays one of Europe’s best kept secrets. A fairytale setting, majestic architecture and storied history all harmoniously collide , a place so beautiful that you’ll hardly ever forget it. Just magical

The Vianden Castle (in Luxembourgish, Veianen Schlass; in French, Château de Vianden; and in German, Schloss Vianden) is one of the most beautiful feudal residences in Europe and it’s easy to see why. Located in a town and commune of the same name in northern Luxembourg, this medieval fortress is a true masterpiece of Romanesque and Gothic architecture! Vianden Castle is located at the north end of Luxembourg, and its origins can be traced all the way back to the 10th century. Over the 11th to 14th centuries, the castle was slowly constructed, with many parts being added or altered.
